Scoresaver 2 is a Microsoft Windows program and as such will not run natively on an Apple Mac.
However, there are PC emulators that you can now get for Macs which may enable you to run Scoresaver 2. We have successfully tested Scoresaver 2 on a Macintosh running VMWare Fusion without any problems.
If you have a PC emulator on your Mac, you can use your 30-day free trial to see if Scoresaver 2 works.
You should always install Scoresaver 2 upgrades to the same folder as your original Scoresaver 2 installation.
This should be c:\program files\scoresaver 2\ unless you have specified to install it somewhere else.
Also, upgrades will always retain your stats from previous versions.
1. Select the "Strokeplay Rounds" tab on the main screen
2. Click "Analyse"
3. On the Strokeplay Analysis screen, select a course (you cannot view eclectics on more than one course by definition)
4. Click on the "Stats for XXX" tab, where XXX is the name of the course selected
5. You will see tabs called "Eclectic Best" (woo-hoo) and "Eclectic Worst" (D'oh). The info you want is shown on these tabs.
While you are there, check out the "Hole Comparison" tab. This shows your key stats on a hole by hole basis for the selected course.
There is a link (blue, underlined text) on the bottom left of the main Scoresaver 2 screen. Click this to check online for a new version
If you would like to purchase 6 or more copies at one time please get in touch and we will sort out favourable pricing.
No, all data entered into Scoresaver 2 during your 30 day trial period is carried forward into the full version automatically. There is no need to re-enter any data.
Most grids can be sorted by clicking one of the column headers of a grid. Left click sorts ascendingly (1,2,3…), right click sorts descendingly (3,2,1…). Sorting also works on date columns so to sort a grid so that the most recent record is at the top, right click the word “Date”.The current sort column is coloured blue (ascending sort) or red (descending sort). Sort columns are stored and restored each time you exit and restart the program.Note: the diary grid on the main screen cannot be sorted: it is permanently displayed in descending date order so that your most recent activity is at the top of the grid.
(Note: this requires Scoresaver 2 v2.1.4 or later to be installed)
